Fuel Delivery Service for Westchester, Putnam & Bronx County

Almeida Oil Truck

Almeida Oil has been operating as a full-service fuel delivery service in Westchester, Putnam & Bronx since 1986. From a single location in Mt Kisco, we deliver every major fuel type — heating oil, propane, diesel, and gasoline — to residential homes, commercial accounts, and private estates throughout Westchester, Putnam and Bronx County.

We own our own wholesale fuel terminal. That matters for supply reliability, for pricing, and for the commitments we can make to customers. If you need one fuel supplier that handles all your fuel needs, you've found it.

Call (914) 666-4328 — we're available 24/7.

Fuel Delivery Service Westchester Residents and Businesses Have Relied on Since 1986

Four decades in the same market teaches you what customers actually need: reliable supply, fair pricing, and someone who picks up the phone. Almeida Oil is family-owned, women-owned, and minority-owned — a business with deep roots in this community, not a regional chain that treats Westchester as one territory among many.

Our wholesale terminal is the structural advantage behind everything else we offer. Most fuel companies resell product they buy from a terminal. We own ours. That keeps our prices competitive, our supply stable during high-demand periods, and our ability to offer heating oil price lock-in grounded in something real — we know our own costs.

Every Fuel Type, One Supplier

Heating Oil

Biofuel heating oil is what most homes in Westchester run on, and it's the foundation of our business. Our standard heating oil contains NY State mandated 20% of biodiesel (B20) which is better for the environment, does not require any equipment modification and can save you $200/year in NYS tax credits based on average usage of 1000 gallons/yr. We offer automatic delivery with weather-conditioned scheduling, level billing plans, and price lock-in options for heating oil. We can also deliver B10 standard #2 heating oil for our commercial customers.

For full details on delivery programs, service contracts, and payment plans, see our heating oil delivery page.

Propane

We deliver propane for home heating, cooking, hot water, backup generators, and commercial applications. For customers who need tank replacement rather than bulk delivery, we also offer propane cylinder exchange.

For delivery schedules, tank sizing, and automatic propane service, see our propane delivery page.

Diesel Fuel

We deliver on-road diesel and off-road (dyed) diesel for commercial fleets, construction equipment, backup generators, and agricultural use. Commercial accounts with high volume or regular delivery needs are well-suited to our wholesale pricing.

For fleet accounts, bulk delivery, and commercial diesel programs, see our diesel fuel delivery page.

Gasoline

We supply gasoline for commercial customers — marinas, fleets, contractors with equipment that doesn't run on diesel, and facilities that maintain on-site fuel storage (no drive-ups please).

Residential, Commercial, and Estate Fuel Delivery

Residential Fuel Delivery

Most of our customers are homeowners. We work with single-family homes, multi-family properties, and condominiums across northern and southern Westchester, as well as Putnam, Bronx and parts of Fairfield county. Our automatic delivery program handles the scheduling so you don't have to think about fuel levels between seasons.

Setting up residential service is a single phone call. We get your tank size, confirm your address, and add you to our delivery schedule. If you want a price lock-in on heating oil or level billing, we handle that in the same conversation.

Commercial Fuel Delivery Westchester

Commercial customers have different requirements: higher volumes, multiple delivery points, strict timing, and often a mix of fuel types. We work with property management companies, contractors, healthcare facilities, schools, and businesses that operate their own backup generation.

Our wholesale terminal relationship means we can support larger accounts without the supply constraints that affect smaller distributors. Commercial customers can also set up dedicated accounts with consolidated billing across multiple locations.

Estate Fuel Delivery

Large residential estates often have fuel needs that go beyond a standard home delivery — multiple buildings, high-capacity tanks, diesel for backup generators, propane for outbuildings, and tight access requirements. We have experience managing multi-fuel delivery for estates throughout Westchester and Putnam County, and we're accustomed to coordinating with property managers and estate staff.

If your property has specific requirements — gated access, large tank volumes, or mixed fuel types — call us and we'll talk through what a delivery program looks like for your situation.

The Wholesale Terminal Advantage

Most fuel dealers in Westchester buy their product from a terminal and resell it to you. Almeida Oil operates its own wholesale fuel terminal.

The practical effects of this are real. During regional supply shortages — which happen during severe winters and during supply chain disruptions — our customers don't face allocation problems. We're not waiting on a third-party distributor to fill our trucks. We have fuel.

It also allows us to price more competitively. Our cost basis is direct, not a markup on someone else's margin. When we quote a price lock-in rate for heating oil, we can stand behind it because we understand what our product actually costs us.

For high-volume commercial and estate customers, this opens the door to wholesale pricing tiers that aren't available through smaller resellers.

Emergency Fuel Delivery, 24 Hours a Day

Running out of fuel — heating oil on a January night, diesel for a critical generator, propane when the tank gauge was wrong — is a problem that doesn't wait until morning. We offer emergency fuel delivery for our automatic delivery customers around the clock, every day of the year.

If you are not yet a customer, call (914) 666-4328, a real person will answer and setup an account for you. We'll dispatch a driver and give you an estimated arrival window. For heating oil run-outs, we can also walk you through a burner reset over the phone while you wait.

If there is a problem restarting your furnace or boiler, a service technician will be dispatched, billed separately unless you are on one of our service contracts.

Our service contracts help you maintain your hearing systems in top shape to minimize emergencies, and if they do happen you are covered:

  • Bronze: 8am–4:30pm coverage Monday through Friday, plus one tune-up and cleaning per contract year.

  • Silver: Bronze coverage, plus 24/7 coverage for no-heat emergencies when outside air temperature is below 50F. 24/7 coverages for serious fuel leaks or other dangerous situations.

  • Platinum: Silver 24/7 coverage, and includes the most extensive parts coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fuel Delivery

What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver throughout Westchester County, Putnam County, Bronx and parts of Fairfield County from our base in Mt Kisco. Our routes cover northern Westchester and southern Westchester — including Bedford, Katonah, Chappaqua, Pleasantville, Briarcliff Manor, and the surrounding towns. If you're unsure whether your address is in range, call us; our delivery area is larger than what fits on a short list.

Do you deliver all fuel types to the same address?

Yes. If your property uses heating oil and diesel for a backup generator, for example, we can deliver both on the same account. Multi-fuel delivery is one of the advantages of working with a single fuel supplier rather than managing separate vendors for each product.

Can I lock in my heating oil price for the season?

We offer a price lock-in option for heating oil customers that fixes your per-gallon rate for the heating season. If market prices rise, you're protected. This option is available because we operate our own terminal and have direct visibility into our supply costs. Ask about availability and timing when you call — lock-in windows are typically open in late summer and early fall. Our FAQ page covers additional questions about pricing plans.

How does automatic delivery work?

For heating oil automatic delivery, we schedule your fill-ups based on your usage history and local weather data — specifically heating degree day calculations that reflect how hard your system is working. For propane delivery, most of the tanks have a sensor which tells us when you are running low on propane. You don't call us to order; we route a driver to your property before your tank reaches a critical level. Most customers on automatic delivery rarely if ever run out of fuel.

What's the difference between on-road and off-road diesel?

On-road diesel is taxed and is required to be used in vehicles that operate on public roads — trucks, vans, equipment with highway registration. Off-road diesel, sometimes called dyed diesel because it contains a red dye for identification, is taxed at a lower rate and legal only for off-road equipment: generators, farm equipment, construction machinery, and heating applications. Using off-road diesel in a road-registered vehicle is a federal violation with significant penalties. When you call to set up diesel delivery, we'll confirm which product matches your application.
